Cinque Terra- Trails, Rugged Coastline and the Refreshing Sea

Cincua Terra (five towns), beautiful stretch of rugged coastline with scenic trails connecting  the ancient Unesco protected towns.   The first hike took us through each of the five towns and was the more popular and tourist laden hike.  The second hike started where the first ended continuing to follow the shoreline through vineyards high above the water on the rocky cliffs.  At the end of each hike we washed the day's sweat and dirt off in the refreshing ocean before heading home (our hotel:)

The trail took us through the very small scenic town Campiglia

The end of our hike, where many mega yachts were anchored, was in site!

Porto Venere, the end of our hike where we got beers, snacks and dipped in to the ocean.  The perfect end to a perfect hike.

  1. Suey, I am impressed by your watermelon devouring. That is a high compliment! I loved cinque terra when I was there...so pretty! We stayed in Vernazza
